JotDoodle is made by Comp Edge Solutions. This page explains what we collect on this website (jotdoodle.us) and in the JotDoodle app (app.jotdoodle.us), why, who else sees it, and how to have it changed or removed. The short version: we use your information to run JotDoodle for you, and we never sell it.

This website

jotdoodle.us has no forms, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking cookies. Its fonts and scripts are served from our own server, so visiting it sends nothing to Google or any other outside company. Like every web server, ours keeps standard access logs (your internet address, browser type, the page you asked for and the time) for about two weeks, to keep the site running and to spot abuse.

What the app collects

• Your account: your name, username, email address and password. The password is stored only in scrambled (hashed) form, so nobody can read it, including us.
• Your brand kit: the business details you enter, such as business name, type, location, tone, colors, fonts, logo and hashtags.
• Your content: the posts, drafts, text and images you create or upload, and your profile picture if you add one.
• Technical details: the same server logs described above.

How we use it

• To sign you in and keep your work saved between visits.
• To write post copy and generate images that match your brand.
• To answer you when you contact us, and to fix problems.
• To keep the service secure and stop abuse.

AI services

When you create a post, the app sends the details needed for that post (your brand kit details and the post topic or image description) to the AI service that does the work: OpenAI writes the copy and generates images, and fal.ai generates images when you choose one of its models. They process the request and send back the result under their own terms. We do not send them your password or your email address.

Who else sees it

We do not sell, rent or trade your information. It is shared only with:

• The AI services above, for the posts you ask for.
• DigitalOcean, the company that hosts our servers and database in the United States.
• Anyone the law requires, such as in response to a court order.

Billing is not active yet. When paid plans start, card payments will be handled by a payment processor, we will never see or store your full card number, and this page will be updated first.

Cookies

This website sets no cookies. The app sets two, both needed to keep you signed in:

• PHPSESSID (until you close your browser): keeps you signed in while you work.
• customerID (24 hours): remembers which account you signed in to.

Neither is used for advertising or to follow you to other websites.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and content for as long as your account is open, so your posts are there when you come back. Ask us to close your account and we will delete it and your content, except anything the law requires us to keep.

Your choices

• See, correct or delete your information: email us and we will do it.
• Edit your brand kit and content any time inside the app.
• Block or delete cookies in your browser. The app will ask you to sign in again.

Security and children

Every page is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), passwords are hashed, and access to our servers is limited to the people who run JotDoodle. JotDoodle is meant for businesses and is not for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes and questions

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes too, and anything significant will be announced in the app. Questions or requests: steve@compedgesolutions.us.
